Accessibility

Last updated: October 28, 2026

HomeRevampDaily wants its home repair guides to be usable by as many readers as possible, including people who use assistive technology. This statement explains what we do, where the site can do better, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our aim

We aim for the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, as far as is practical for a small publishing site, and we treat accessibility as part of every design and content update rather than a one-off project.

What is in place

  • Guides are written with a clear heading structure so screen-reader and keyboard users can move through a page in order.
  • Images that add information carry descriptive alternative text.
  • The site is responsive, so pages can be zoomed and read on phones and tablets without horizontal scrolling.
  • Text and background colours are chosen for strong contrast, and links and buttons are sized to be tapped on touch screens.

Known limits

Some older or third-party elements may not meet every guideline yet — for example, embedded content from other websites is controlled by those providers. We fix barriers we find, in priority order, as the site is updated.

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of this site is hard for you to use, please contact us at [email protected] or through our contact page and tell us the page and the problem. We reply to most messages within 2 business days and will do our best to provide the content you need in another way while we fix the issue.
